Congratulations to the winners of the third quarterly Chapter Spotlight awards of 2014!
DBSA Jackson (TN) Last month the VA contacted DBSA Tennessee to speak at a VA Summit about DBSA's presence as a resource for the veterans and their families across Tennessee. Leader Steve Brannon spoke before an audience of 150 attendees. "It was a great opportunity for networking with many other not-for-profit organizations in meeting the leaders of the mental health service in the local Memphis VA medical center," Steve said.
Steve also spoke about the work of DBSA in an article on depression and suicide prevention in The Jackson Sun. (Read the article that includes discussion of the value of support groups and Robin Williams death at bit.ly/1rb4se3 .)
